Officially FRUSTRATED at adhesives
So, 2001 SCREW and my driver window keeps popping out of the window channel. Metal channel on motor/regulator has 2 clips that are glued to bottom of glass to make one solid unit.
OEM from factory appears to be just regular silicone. NOT. I have tried everything from siliicone, JB quick weld, single and 2part epoxy glues to super glue. This morning for the umpteenth time, with a light frost, my window pops again.
I just want to roll thru McD's for a sausage mcmuffin!!!
I have had Gorilla Glue suggest and have used it in other applications but have resisted here due to the expansion. It's all I have left to try.
Any other suggestions.
Please......

No, no bind. Only happens when ice/frost is on the outside of window and sticks to the felt that is supposed to wipe the outer window clear
Is there room to install 3M 2 sided tape in the seating channel? I would rub (with your finger) some mineral oil on the felt guides to prevent the ice crystals from attaching themselves to the glass.
Wouldn't mineral oil smear on the glass?
