Holes in BED!

So, after the long winter, I finally had a reason to use my bed again, and opened it up to find two major holes that were not there in the fall.

I'm trying to figure out what to do about this. Any advice on what if anything I can do would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking about having a friend weld on a sheet metal patch, but beyond that, I'm not sure what else I could do.

I would pull the bed, clean it thoroughly, patch the holes, and paint both sides with POR-15.

By the time you get done with that, I'd be tempted to try to find a bed in the junkyard that's not rusty.

it's a 14 year old truck.... find a cheap drop in liner somewhere like C/L and forget about it. Sometimes the truth hurts, but it's really not worth doing it properly, and any half baked attempt is simply a waste of time and money.

Cut out the rust, throw some rust converter on the bed, and pick up a drop in liner like a Dualiner. Easy peasy.
