Ok so I have a chrome bumper on my SCREW front and back and do not like them. I'm trying to go for a no chrome look. I want the bumper the same color as the truck but having some trouble figuring out what to do. Some people say to paint it and others say just get a new one on the color I want. So this will probably make up my mind once and for all. Which is the best way about getting the same color.....PAINT or BUY NEW

Painting over chrome is tedious and can come out really bad if you don't take the time to do it right. Try a junk yard and get some steel pull offs and have them painted, that would probably be the cheapest and easiest route to go, might even be able to trade in your old bumpers for an even swap, a place in my neck of the woods does that.

What color? Find a Sport model F150 in a salvage yard of the same color and start pulling.
