OK, contestants, what is the black grill behind the hood with the wipers going through it called?

Bonus round, what is the rubber part on each end of it called and where can I get replacements for them? They literally crumbled when I washed the truck today.

Have a brain freeze here and would appreciate it if someone could seriously help out an OLD MAN.

cowl. you can look up parts for your truck via the vin on fordparts.com then do an ebay search to find them cheaper i think the rubber part is part of the cowl halves though.

fordparts.com works best with IE explorer looks like as you can click on things and it opens it in the window. My firefox wont do that for some reason.

and yes as mentioned they are included with the left and right plastic wiper cowl pieces

 

OP, are you talking about the thin strip kinda seal where it meets the windshield? Cause the same thing happened to me in a drive thru car wash. The pass. Side piece came off...
