Does anybody know where I can find the tailgate hinges for my 97 F-150? I've looked on every website i could think of and the only thing I can find is the plastic bushings. Just bought this truck 3 weeks ago off craigslist. Got it for a hell of a deal, and have recently found that 97 is a bastard year for some reason. Someone please help! I do weld so a weld on piece would note be an issue.

 

Any chance you tried your local dealer? I'm not sure why 97 is so hard to find. 97 - 03 should all be the same.....

I thought so also. Everything seems to leave off at 96, and pick back up at 98. Its frustrating. I am going to try a dealer tomorrow.
