06 Panel's in front of windshield

No sure what the correct name is for these panels, they cover the area between the hood & windsheild. The panel is made in two pieces and has a small rubber strip on the ends where it meets the fender on each side. The rubber piece on the pass side has cracked into pieces and fell out and the one on the drivers side is starting to deteriorate also. I called the dealership and they said the only way to get the rubber pieces is to buy the complete panels at $98 bucks each! There is nothing wrong with the panels, just the rubber end pieces are bad. Anyone know of where these rubber pieces can be bought seperately?

Thanks in Advance, Kenny

Can't be bought separately. You have to replace the full cowl. Try tasca ford online for a better price. I drove my 2005 for 3 years without the rubber pieces and sold it that way.

The rubber pieces have tabs that lock it into the plastic panel, this is really a crock to have to pay for the complete panels just to get the rubber pieces.

Thanks for the link, I'll try Tasca and see if it's any cheaper by the time I have them shipped.

Another old thread raised from the dead. Just an FYI, for anyone looking for the rubber pieces at the ends of the cowl panels they can be bought for $15 on ebay.
