twas the night before christmas...

so the night before christmas my truck and i had a bad day. i went to my girlfriend's house and while just starting to move thru her gate, the gate comes off the latch and swings into my front bumper(my fault tho) but leaves no damage. then while trying to get up the driveway i get stuck. took 10mins to get out by rocking it(2wd) finally got out but back into even deeper snow where my girlfriend had to break out the chains to get me out. she told me to just leave my truck down by the house her parents are renting out and so i do. about 6 hours later i come out to my truck and notice that when i turned on my wipers to get the snow off, the one on the passenger side only cleared about 2 inches. so i go out and look and the rubber of the wiper is gone but the metal that clips on is still there. i look around and find a 4 inch piece of it. i look down and see a softball sized dent above my front wheel. what had happened is one of the 5 horses they have(4 are her parents, and 1 is the person the other house is rented to)ate my wiper and leaned on my truck with its shoulder or chest and dented the truck. in the morning when there was light i went out and looked my truck over and found 3 scratches down to the primer on my hood, teeth marks on my drivers side mirror(which was also pushed in when i came out that night) and also teeth marks on my bedrail caps. also there were dirty mouthprints all over my truck from the horse trying to lick the salt off my truck which is how the scratches on the hood got there. yeah fun night. have to get estimates sometime this week, most likely tomorrow. i will load pics when i can.

Oh man, that sucks a lot, but to be fair, it will make a pretty good story once the truck is fixed.

When I go fishing at my familys lease, all 50 cows have to lick some part of my truck. It's pretty funny when you look at it after, its all dusty but with a whole bunch of clean streaks all over it. It kinda pisses me off they could at least finish licking off the rest of the dirt so I wouldn't have to wash it Hope you get it fixed.

yeah well the horse was licking the salt off of mine and he hit his teeth on it which is what made the scratches. mine is all dirty from the horse's mouth now. i washed my truck like 5 days before this happened. yeah luckily i have a $100 deductable and my girlfriend's parents are gonna pay me back for the deductable since its their horse. i will get it fixed sometime pretty quick i hope.
