2000 F150 bottom of cab - fixable?

I posted some pictures in my gallery of the driver's side bottom of my cab and rocker panels - hope I can put in a link to it. This is the worst side - the passenger's side has rust but isn't as bad. The worst of it appears to be a hole in the cab that is open into the area where the ebrake is located. The rockers have apparently been worked on previously with some kind of thin sheet - not a great job. I can see my way to doing some work on the rocker panels, maybe even some welding, but I'm trying to figure out whether there is some halfway decent fix I can do for the holes in the cab body. I bought some POR15 a while ago just for general rust, but I don't see a way to use it very effectively here. I probably will put some kind of temporary plug in the large hole near where the ebrake cable goes thru the floor; thinking of using expandable insulation foam or something along those lines. Any ideas on either a temporary or (better) a permanent fix? Thanks.

that looks like my old truck. 2000 f150. rust and rot allover bottom. especially support beams for back of cab. Ended up trading in last year, 94,000 mi. I went to dealer for advice, he said trade it in. overall truck looked almost new, just don't look underneath.
