In regards to my '05 CrewCab, wondering if anyne has had or seen rust in the seams of the CAB? The rust is in the groove running front to back on the top of the CAB..Has a black piece of molding in it.

I live in the south so road salt is not a big factor. Looks to me the groove was not prepped properly when painted?

I have the stuff to repair it but would like to know how that molding piece is attached. Grommets? Adhesive/Silicone? Is it hard to remove without damaging it.
