Removal of 4x4

Yo I need advice for removal of a decal. Just bought a leftover 2010 F-150 supercab 5.4 L and I want to remove the 4x4 decals on both sides but I am afraid to start peeling thinking maybe the paint will come off. Any Ideas if they peel right off or do I need something special to remove them or just leave them there. I know what I got I don't have to show the world 4x4.

Thanks in advance

Most of the time if it is a newer truck they will just peel off. I took the wife's hairdryer and heated mine up a little and it came off without a hitch. Mine didn't leave a residue but if it does just take a little Goo-Gone or similar product on a rag and wipe it down.
