Wheel Well Liners???

First off, I tried a search but it returned threads from the early 2000's, so...

I have a 2008 Screw and would like to instal some factory rear wheel well liners for protection. I have a few questions...

Is there such a thing?

If so, why did the truck not come with them already installed?

Did Ford leave them off due to a rust prevention theory?

Are there any after market options or should I order from the stealership?

Thanks in advance.

There is no factory option. I'd stay without the liners. That way you can wash off salt, dirt, etc instead of it staying trapped and eating away from the inside out. I see no need for liners in the rear.

No problem. On a side note, I repaint my frame and wheel wells every year. If you go this route, you'll never see a spec of rust and your truck will always look brand new.

i would suggest a good cleaning in your wells then adding a coat of undercoating in the area for protection.
