Sometimes I'll be driving down the road and I can look in my driver's side mirror and see the bed by my tail gate shaking up and down pretty bad. All the bed bolts are tight. It makes the whole truck shake. I've seen other F-150's driving around and some of their beds shake too. Anyone on here have that issue? I had the tires rebalanced thinking that was it... nope. Thanks for any info guys. I'm trying to love my truck... as I dumped $5K into it to fix it in the first 6 weeks of owning it. But it's been a great truck ever since. Any input is much appreciated. Also, if you're reading this, please feel free to lend your knowledge on my HID light thread. Having issues with my aftermarket HID's. Thanks.

 

I went to Ford for a quickie oil change this last summer and i asked them the same question. They told me it was a recall. They put a 22lbs weight on the frame. The trucks werent ballenced good. So they put a counter weight on the frame to fix the fibration. Go to your stealership... ask them about it and they will take care of it.
As for your HID issues... I dont know what your problems are. But ill tell you what mine were and how i fixed them. My driver side light wouldnt always light up. Bought a relay harness and it didnt change anything. one day it worked fine. The next it didnt. I bought a new HID kit from a cool guy on here, and i installed them and did the bambi mod to the relay pannel and everything worked great. I think the first kit i had was just junk. Do the bambi mod though.... Its nice. And also,,, turn off your perimeter lighting!!!!! It will burn up your ballasts. Always turn the truck on first, then turn on your lights next. The battery just doesnt have enough juice to properly fire the ballests.
