Went camping over the 4th, slid towing mirror out and it came off the rail. I was unable to push back on. Called Ford stated they would have to get warranty claim. Claim was denied because of 2 little cosmetic scratches on plastic around mirror. Then proceeded to contact Sales manager he told me to bring it in. A Ford technical adviser just happened to be there looked it over, I pointed out the scratches, he said that should not be a valid reason to be denied he said he would appeal on my behalf. 3 weeks later, still denied based upon the original dealership has too many warranty claims so they are under review. Please I need help; A) fix the mirror B) get Mr Ford to replace mirror c) get somebody to make Mr Ford pay for mirror or at least repair on their dime aka $700 not mine.

 

Hopefully you get this replaced for free considering the truck is so new. However, if they find that YOU are at fault and you do end up having to pay, you may want to look at Tascaparts.com for a replacement. I believe the cost of the TT mirror on there is around $135.

I contacted the BBB and they made Ford run home to MAMA. Getting mirror replaced this week. YAHOOOOOOOOO!
