dented driver side bed panel

So I was out playing in the snow this weekend and my friend and I had a little collision. well now my truck is left with a huge dent on the driver side of the bed...right above the fender flare (the fender flare was dented in as well). Anyway the question I have is can I buy a new skin for the whole driver side of the bed? If so where at and how much would it cost to have it painted as well? I was hoping that I could get the dents pulled out but it will never look the same because it creased so im gonna try and get a whole new skin. Thanks for any help!

Sounds like you and I had the same problem, except I stopped messing around and was 5 minutes from home and took out a fire hydrant. The fire hydrant struck in between my step side and tire. The body shop said that the side comes off, and they'll just replace the side and repaint it. So, see if your bed side will come off, and try getting it replaced. I'd personally call my insurance and say someone hit my truck while I was at home sleeping.

For a truck skin try a junk yard first. Probably will be cheaper. LMC Truck I know for sure has the part...

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fe/full.aspx?Page=22

It looks like it will run you the part (499) and shipping (125) for a total of 625.... Again try a junk yard first they are a last resort. You will also have to get it painted.

You would be surprised what these places called Dent Doctors etc. can do. Also alot cheaper than a body shop.
