i have a 3/5 and no problems but i don't have leather.

Yeah I think I would take the steps off, would look kinda silly having running boards with a lowered truck.

Probably in the next couple weeks, My painter has been busy no he just scheduled me early next month.

i installed the drop on stock shocks, and 3.5 yrs later they are getting worn. but other than that it rides like any other mildly lowered vehicle. stiffer than normal, but good.

Yeah its just the stick on, I did have the other part that goes around it painted, but they just did not work out.

Point taken, yes a lowered truck with running boards may look silly but for some reason I think with the white with flat black running boards it might look good and stealthy.

i have been tossing the idea around. not too sure if i want the chrome pull strap or not.

Well when you take them off to paint them, get a visual of what it looks like, then that way you get a idea. Are you putting the drop kit on before or after you get your stuff painted?
