I went in for an oil change and tire rotation and the tech noticed I have a badly cracked frame.

I have a 2002 F150 4x4. I have a pop-up camper (1,600lb) on the back with air bags in the suspension. The truck has never been in an accident.

The crack in the frame run under the left rear airbag mount. It runs from the bottom of the C-beam to the edge of the top. The top flat part is the only thing holding the frame together.

Has anyone ever heard of this happening? I have done a little wheeling, but nothing radical. Mostly dirt roads with some washboard.

I have it in a collision shop to get welded and trued up.
