There are 3 ways.

Sometimes, the card with the 5 digit code is still in the manual. Sometimes, the dealer removed it for some strange reason.

If it's a Scab or Screw, you can remove the back of the rear seat, to get to the BSM. There should be a label on it with the code.

You can go to a dealer and either talk them into or pay them to hook up a computer to your truck and retrieve the code for you.

just throwin this out there, but i learned the other day that you can program a second personal code. you need the factory code to do it, and that one will never change. then you can program a second one that you can change when your ex goes crazy *ahem*
anyways, its in the manual.

Yes, that has always been the case. It will hold two codes, with the factory code always being static. You have to know that factory code in order to input your own personal 5 digit code. Your personal code can be changed any time you wish.

for those that dont have the card that says it and dont want to pay ford $80 to get it, here is where you can find the code behind the rear seat. i circled it in yellow, its printed on the sticker on the module.
