painting over chrome?

painting over chrome?

alright ive got an 04 f140 with chrome bumpers and im changing a few thnings and i just dont think the chrome is going to match so whats the dealio with painting chrome is that even possible to have a good paintjob over chrome? i just hear alot about it not lasting long or even not sticking

as much input as possible would be great thanks

nope. your gonna have to have them sand blasted and then either painted or powder coated which seems to be cheaper.

thanks man, so your saying it is possible it just needs to be sand blasted and then powder coated?

Yup sand blasting will leave you with bare metal and the you can go which ever way you want, paint powdercoat, line-x
