so i have recently become obsessed with the fx2 look, what would have to happen to get a fx2 valance on my soon to be ptm bumper??

 

I think you just have to swap it with the valance you have now. All the holes should match up. I traded my FX2 valance with a member on here who has an 06 STX. We both had no issues with them not fitting properly. Hope that helps.

 

really?! that would be hella amazing man. the only reason why i was unsure is that i think i recall reading that the valances fit 06-08 models.. though i was under the impression that 04-08 have the same bumper assembly???

 

i have a white fx2 valance that i bought and never installed, bought it used. If you want it i'll sell it to you, just make me an offer on it

 

Valance or bumper & valance? I'm looking to get rid of my chrome bumper.

 

the 04-05 valances are different then the 06-08 valances but not much of a difference i had a fx2 and now have a harley davidson valance the there is like two bolt holes that you cant use

 

i agree, i have an 06 valence on my 05, majority of the bolts line up with the exception of 2. it looks fine, but it doesnt sit "flush" with out a lil trimming.
