How do i take off the front bumper from my 03 ford f150? I got under the truck and took 4 bolts off of it, it dropped lower but won't come all the way off. what else do i gotta do?

 

you sound like a quitter, look around at whats holding up the progress

 

on my 01 there was the 4 bolts, the rubber flap that goes from the bumper to in front of the radiator(just held on by plastic push pins, then the fog light wires and it pulled right off. Sure you not just hanging up on the tow hooks or something?

 

get a rope. tie rope to bumper. tie other end of rope to tree. put the truck in R and GO!

should solve your problem.

got it off. there were 8 bolts in all. i replaced the plastic part that also has my licence plate. putting the bumper back on, but it one side doesn't give me much space to do it its seems closer to the grill so its hard to slide the bumper in and down into position. any suggestions? i'm gonna try 2 finish off in the morning.
