Wrecked Front Bumper

Coming home late from baseball game last night, had a fender bender with one of my buddies. I dont have any pics right now. But the front chrome bumper is dented in pretty good. I think the front bumper needs to be replaced. Has anyone ever done this? And any price estimates would be great. I was only going about 12-15 mph. And it did not touch any paint or plastic and its right in the middle of my bumper. The actual dent is a little larger than a basketball. Besides the dent i noticed it pulled it down about an inch on the driver side too.

I dont have pics some im tryin to give ya'll the best description i can.
Thanks for anyhelp and yes i know im an idiot haha.

You will need to pop open the hood, there are a few 10mm bolts holding the hood release on and some other things. After that its just a bunch of 1/2"( i believe) bolts that hold the bumper on. Youll have to get at them from the top and more underneath the truck. Fairly simple. Make sure to unplug the foglights first if you have them

ok, thanks for the help.

So hopefully I haven't bent anything holding it on, just the bumper itself.

And with that I should be able to unbolt the chrome plated bumper and get a new one to replace it?? Which i saw an OE on for $150. Does that sound about right?

Problem with junkyards is the newness of the truck. 2005 is hard to locate.
I just creased my back bumper. I looked at several junkyards for a replacement. 2005 to 2008 will work on my 2007. I found nothing.
A local custom shop ordered me an aftermarket chrome shell for $125 pus tax. It will arrive in 2 more weeks. I will use my existing mounts and plastic trim.
Maybe the front bumper is available in aftermarket. I recommend calling some custom truck shops for availability and pricing.
Good luck.
