Wiper linkage bushings
Wiper linkage bushings
The linkage arm bushing on my 1998 F150SC seperated from the linkage. I See that they make replacments. The only ones I can find are for everything but Fords. I looked at Autozone and Advanced. They had the HELP parts book and there was no listing for Ford bushings. The counter guy told me DEALER. My only other route seems to buy a new motor and linkage. This just happened tonight. I took it apart and went to look for parts but ran out of time. I only found the motor and linkage as one unit on line at Ford direct. I will search aroung tomorrow and see what I can find. Any help or sugestions woul dbe appreciated. Thanks Bob

I checked tascafordparts.com and they show only the motor and linkage for $64.02 with a care charge of $35.00. You might give them a call at 1-800-915-3141. They are verry good to deal with . Hope this helps
Sorry to revie an old thread but I just fixed mine...rockauto.com has them. They are made by that HELP brand you see at auto parts stores so you may be able to get them locally. They cost me $10 ($5.20 to ship! - goofy eh?) Part number 49451. They look like like little white nipple covers - ;>) really! They are tough to get snapped on. I just pulled the whole assembly out and used a big pair of channel locks to pinch them on and snap things together. Hope this helps somebody else out. If you live in a cold climate and turn on your wipers when they are stuck --you will likely find a need for them! They fit 97-02 150's, 250's, Expedition.
