Help with Cowl Removal?

Friend of mine is having a hard time removing the cowl on his 86 F150. It got burned and he wants to repaint. All the screws are out and wanted to find out if there is anything else that has to be done to remove it? Sincerely, B White

So you want to paint some piece of screwed beef? Forgive my ignorance but is there any other kind of cow that isn't 2000+ lbs and a mammal?

You need to tell what year it is so someone can help. And, it's a cowl.

Wiggle it. There are probably some tabs that are keeping it locked in place. Is it a 1 piece, or 2 piece cowl? I don't know too much about that year.

Thanks all, It's only 1 piece. I'm trying to help him over the phone and was just wondering if I was missing anything other than the screws to remove the cowl. You all have some beautiful pictures of your rides. BW

Edited to add: If you're talking about the picture in my sig, that was my old house, and actually all the background is of the neighbor's yard/barn/veggie patch.
