So I am thinking of buying 1970 Nova, but I want to know how I can check that the car isn't patched up with tons of bondo underneath the paint. Is there any way I would be able to check this while examining the car at the seller's location?

 

take a magnet off your refrigerator and put it on some spots that are common for rust or body work. the magnet wont stick if theres bondo.
