fx4 fender flares

i just bought a 2006 f150 fx4 black and it has the plastic fender flares they are kinda faded can i paint them to match the body or what is the best option to make them look better?

Yes they can be painted.

If you don't want to spend the money to have painted, you can use Black Wow or Back to Black to help restore original color. Check in the detailing forum for info.
