Flareside to Styleside Covnversion

I know everyone has thier opinions on which they like and I don't want to start that dialog, but I'm looking at a used 2003 supercab styleside that has pretty extensive damage to the passenger side quarter panel. Looking around briefly I'm finding quite a few more styleside beds available on the local wrecking yards. Even found one in the same color and the price is very reasonable. The question is, can I just unbolt the flareside bed and bolt a styleside bed in it's place? If so it would seem that a weekend's worth of effort could easily bring the truck back to 100%.

Your knowledge would be appreciated.

Thanks!

i coulda swore i posted a reply to this two nights ago and now its gone!

Anyway, the beds should interchange over, just a few bolts and voila as long as your replacing beds of same length.
You may want to make sure to get the bumpers and brackets, as well as the taillights and possibly the gas filler necks as they may be slightly different.
Dont foget to make sure it comes with a tailgate as they are different too.

shouldnt take more than an afternoon and two buddies to help you lift the bed off and new one up on the truck.

if you switch beds, you will need the respective bumper for the bed as well. yes, this is an unbolt the old and bolt on the new deal.

wait so there's not a difference in the frame between the flareside and styleside? i always though the frame was slightly shorter or longer (depending on cab configuration) which was what was keeping me from converting.
