I just bought an FX4 three months ago and have taken it through a car wash twice. I keep the truck in the garage and it does not even have 1k miles on it. However, I noticed some discoloration around the antenna base and on the rear bumper. It looks like the paint is fading and when you rub your finger over the areas you can feel a change in the surface, almost like it has been sanded. Has anyone had a similar problem or are there known issues with the F-150 paint jobs?

 

Sounds like you are describing what happens when the Dealer does a spot-paint repair to correct some scratch or imperfection before you took delivery..
