Another problem w/ leather seats in a F-150

I seen several posts on early wear with the leather seats used in the F-150s. I have a 1998 Lariat, and my seats look terrible. I found a used set for a 2000 Lariat for sale locally, but I don't know if they'll fit my 1998. Anybody out there have any info on what model years are compatible?

Are you buying all new seats or just the covers?

assuming you have a scab and your getting them from a scab the front ones should bolt right up. the back seat though the 97-98 seats fold out and down and 99-03 they just flip up. im not sure between the flipping and folding if they would bolt on, i dont think so though.

Zaairman--I'm looking at replacing the front seats. My lumbar support also doesn't work anymore. Otherwise I would be looking for seat covers.

off road dude--thx. I am only looking at the front seats. My rear seats are fine.

As far as I know 1997 - 2003 seat bases are the same.
