Help, help, help
Help, help, help
OK. I let my brother use my truck to move and his wife decided she needed to paint her ceiling fan bladed. For some reason RIGHT NEXT TO MY TRUCK! What can I use to get the overspray off of it, or am I screwed?
Just clay it and it will come off. Probably will take some elbow grease so don't be surprised. But the clay will take it off I would look at ordering a medium (slightly more aggressive) clay from an online retailer. Just remember to keep the surface lubed well (I use meg's quick detailer) so you don't induce scratches. Plus the clay is a pain to get off the paint if you get some "smeared" on the paint from not using enough lube.
I've used the claybar and agree with others-- it should be best tool for removing the overspray. Also, this is the exact reason I don't let anyone use my truck to "move a few things". Many people think that since its a truck it can be treated like a second hand work truck. They don't realize or appreciate the fact that we take pride in our vehicles and they are our daily drivers that most of us meticulously maintain with pride. Give the claybar a try and you will be amazed. Good luck!
Went to the local auto parts store and picked up some Mothers-had a clay bar, a cleaner, and a wax finisher. Worked like a champ and my brother took care of the $17 bill. Also got a Steak and Lobster out of em!!! Thanks for the help, guys!

sO JUST CLAY BAR IT WITH A BUFFER?
