Yeah it sucks. The dent is only about 2" in diameter. I called the parts dept at ford and got a price for the bumper. I think it was about $507. Thats not painted. For them to paint it, I had to call another dept for a quote on that. They said painting would be about $150. I dont know if they charge for installing the new bumper, what the grand total would be. Im guess $700+. Thats a little more than I want to spend on a 2" dent. 
Also check on e-bay, I see the bumpers being sold there every now and then.
You can also check some salvage yards nearby.
Finally, you could always go aftermarket !!
Any chance you have full coverage on insurance ? They'd cover that. Tell em its a hit and run, and the premium wont go up (mine didn't)
