I purchased a chrome front bumper on ebay, to replace the painted bumper on my 06 XL. I assumed all 04-up are the same, but they're slightly different. I haven't removed my bumper yet. The chrome bumper has a larger cutout and a slight lift on top, where mine appears to be flat. Looking at pictures of trucks on ebay there appears to be slight variations, but all of the plastic upper bumpers seem to be the same. The openings on some have the appearance of being open all the way up to the plastic upper piece. I'm thinking maybe this is the bumper type i purchased, and that the lifted area may fit under the upper plastic piece.Also are there any variations in styling from year to year? Any help is appreciated.Thanks

 

well... if you are talking front bumpers to my understanding they go from 04 - 06 and then 07-08... So depending upon what year and what month of that production year your truck was built the bumper will vary. This goes along with the types of bumpers as well.

How much was the bumper on ebay?
