De badge 2008 f150

I would like to remove the f150 emblems from the truck I know they are on with double stick tape but are there holes in the pannels for locator pins ? I would hate to pull one off and find a hole behind them, thanks

if you remove them it only opens another can of worms. have fun at body shop if you decide to take em off
