I was driving yesterday and was in a parking lot when i saw a newer body style (probably 05-07 ish) super cab ranger with an FX4 Level II package, i never heard of a level II before. any one else ever hear of this or know whats included in it??? sorry if it's a ridiculusly stupid question but i was just wonering what it is.

 

The FX4 level II was a ranger only option. I don't think they make them anymore. I do remember they had 15" forged alcoa wheels and a more aggresive off-road tire as standard and the regular FX4 had the standard FX4 wheels. They also had real bucket seats while the regular got the 60/40 front seats.

 

thanks for clearing that up. i just never hear of that before or seen it before (must not be too many of them out there) but i did like the look of, looked very stock while still having an off road appearance

 

They came with 31x10.5 BFG A/T's. The wheels looked good on thows trucks. There was more diffrences then that but I cant remember what. Gears maybe?

 

standard 4.10s i believe. also had the manual shift transfer case as opposed to the elec SOF. and ofcourse the better interior trim. very nice trucks they were.
