And starquest, if you are looking for some nice aftermarket lights, look on ebay. I bought knock-off lightning headlights, completely clear, for $100 or less in the last year or two (look in gallery for a pic, if you like). There are a TON of them that, imho, look good. To me, that $75-100 was very well spent

 

I have been checking ebay on and off. Do you know what brand name your lights are? I am a little afraid of getting ahold of a cheap set and then having them leak or turn into bathroom glass within a short period of time. There are so many brands out there but the only ones I have ever really heard anything about are Depos and they are usually $150+. I just posted a thread in the appearance section that is related. Check that out and throw me your opinion.

 

Yes, they came out right before the 2004 body style came out. They also, bring out there best looking piece before the body style changes..

 

I bought my headlights and corners for 165 shipped for used real lightning headlights.

you just have to wait for the right set to come along. I actually bought the corners and headlights seperate b.c it seems cheaper that way

Seller is Revotec (at least, I'm almost positive based upon my e-bay transactions 1+ year ago). The only difference in this one vs. mine is that mine have the "crescent" shaped turn lamp vs. this one which has the circle. Just personal preference. I waited a few days and got the one I wanted.

I went ahead and siliconed the entire housing before installation. I can honestly say I have not had 1 problem with them. Good luck

 

Thanks for the link. I do like those. You can't see the silicone when the hood is closed, right? Here is a link to the ones I was looking at by Depo. $139 plus the cost of the corners...about $25.

The Heritage was a way for Ford to put a nice paint job on 8 years of built-up part inventory in 2004 for cheap. A buddy of mine shelled out $30K+ for a 2WD SuperCab version at the time and lived with a $600 a month car note for a truck that depreciated $10K in the first year in 2004.

I had to hear about him whining about it for 2 years afterwards until he took the loss and sold it.
