HELP Bed Extender

So I found a really good deal on a used bed extender on craiglist. It came off of a 01 SCREW. Will it work on my 99 SCAB? Also he said he didn't have the pins or something like that to mount it??? Can you get these at the dealership? He is suppose to email me pictures either today or tomorrow and I'll post them up. Thanks Justin

The extender for the '01-'03 Supercrew will be too narrow for your Styleside bed. I posted on the Supercrew Post that the width of the Supercrew bed at the rear is 49.5" and the Extender is 48". The 2 pins screw into the side and the extender clips onto them. The dimensions of the Extender is roughly 48"L X 27"W X 18"H. I actually have one for an Explorer Sport Track, it is the same dimensions but for the depth or width, it fits the opening on the pegs but it is 24" instead of 27". 3" short and the rubber feet do not match up with the flat spots in my Ford bedliner. I am looking for the proper one for a Supercrew too.

'01-03 SuperCrew Extender 48 X 27 X 18

'02-'05 Explorer Sport Track Extender 48 X 24 X 18.

well I can't even do any fabbing to "make it work." The is about a 10" difference in the 2 beds. So unless someone wants to cut and weld in 10" sections in the middle, the screw ones wont work.

And..... I think the Ford OEM Extender legnth of the '04 up F150/Mark LT Styleside Bed is around 59". For the '97-'03 Styleside Bed you are limited to an aftermarket one. Westin or something like that. These things are great if they are utilized, but some prefer to just take them off never to be put back on, they get stored in garages and basments and forgot about. The prices are all over the map too, I see them New and Used as low as under $50 and as high as over $150. Alot of folks say the Sport Track and Supercrew are interchangeable, and mistakenly list a Sport Track one as a Supercrew one, vise/versa..without specific dimensions. But as I mentioned the Supercrew one is 3" Deeper. '01-'03 that is. I found that out the hard way. Measure Twice, Cut once..I geuss? I didn't ask the measurements before I bought it.
