Mark LT emblems...

I don't want to start a pissing match here but why do people need to rip off there Ford badgeing and need to replace it with Lincoln LT badges and grills and tailgates? I see this all the time now...
Am I the only one that thinks this is beond lame???
I am not talking about painted doorhandles, or aftermarket rims ect... but actually putting Lincoln logos, name plates and grills on there Fords.
If you wanted a Mark LT why didn't you just buy a LT? If you can't afford a LT theres nothing wrong with that "I myself was not willing to part with the extra coin" but would never pull a wanna-be move like that.
Like I said I don't want to get into a ripping match but PLEASE stop putting Lincoln badges on Fords as its worse then the Yukon guys putting Denali grills and name plates on there SLT'S.
I shake my head every time I see this... Make what you have nice, not into something its not.

End rant.

I totally agree - extremely lame.

It's also like people that have regular Mustangs and put Cobra emblems on them, etc.

I would much rather see people putting lincoln badges on their ford than what i saw today.

It was a KIA, the one that looks like a mercedes, with a mercedes logo on the tailgate, a hood emblem (The one that folds over when oyu bend it) and it even had some model number logos on it.....but the rims still said kia

I don't care if I get flamed, but I put a denali grill, headlights, and dash cluster surround on my other truck which is a 2002 GMC Sierra. I did not put the denali badges on though and never would. I just think the grill, headlights, and dash surround look better then the Sierra stock ones. All I care about it that I like it. Just my two cents.

Thats cool... You did not try and portray that your truck was an actual Denalli. You just added some cooler parts. Alot of guys do that

Alon, you been here long enough to know the phrase "worthless without pics."

I would have LOVED to have seen pics. Today, I also saw something that made me want to throw up. A nice sand colored 4x4 F150, new body, and matching painted tonneau with a SPOILER on the rear end?!?!?!

I guess that I stated that wrong.I found one that I wanted but when the owner of the dealership (a friend's uncle) told me that he could give me the Mark LT for $50 over factory as apposed to $1000 over dealer invoice on the dealer traded KR I figured I was in a better position.I just really dislike black vehicles as I don't have the time that the **** retentive guys in the detail section have.
