ok i know some of you have the antennas mounted between the bed and the cab, i have seen trucks all over with them mounted somewhere in there. how exactly are they mounted?? what are they mounted to??? any other suggestions of where to mount antennas?? looking for somewhere thats not ridiculous. i tried the magnet mounts already, didn't like them hanging out on the roof all the time(mainly because of the wire laying on the roof). and the range on the through the window ones isn't worth it at all. anybody with hood mount system?? no drill prefered!!

 

Well either way your gonna have to drill The hood mounts are decent, and are just a L bracket with a nmo style or whatever style your looking for. If you have a tool box it can be mounted there I run vhf and uhf and have my antennas drilled into my roof but they are also low profile so you really don't notice them to much.
