Window scratches

My drivers side window has developed a 1" wide streak of scratches from the bottom to the top of the window. Something inside the door is rubbing the window every time I roll it up or down. Anyone else have this problem?? Or know what could be wrong? It is right in front of the mirror.

Are you still under warranty? If so take it in. Doesn't look like anyone else has this problem. Could be something in the door panel...if so then should be covered under warranty. The only other thing I can think of is there could be a small rock or piece or gravel that worked it's way under the window seal. If your mechanically inclined, pop off the door panel and see what going on inside.

x2 on the gravel/rocks.

if its and inch wide, it might be sand, check the outside seal and see if its flush against the windown.

Have checked seal and it is tight against the window. Nothing abrasive in the seal either. Has to be inside the door. Still under warranty. Sand or dirt is what I think they'll prob blame it on and not wanna fix it. Gonna have to see for myself whats doin it before I take it in so I dont get scammed.
