Hello all, I recently purchased a used 2003 150 Supercab and have found that it is missing the right tailgate cable. Normally this would be a non issue as I'd just get another. What has me puzzled is that the attachment hardware on the tailgate where the cable hooks on to it is also missing. Any idea where to get this piece or what it is called and how to replace it?

Just take one off from the other side and go to the dealer. They can order new ones [tailgate cable mounting hardware].

 

I'd just try a junk yard .( especially something like that ). Much cheaper that the dealer .IMO I'm sure there a lot of crashed 03's there.
