2008 F150 mirror questions...

My dad just brought his new truck home- he was all excited about the "towing" mirrors he ordered. (extendable, heated, signal lights, and the small convex mirror) Now the bad news- wouldn't fit thru garage door!!
He wont get out to fold them in everytime- so...... aftermarket power fold kit ? trade/swap down to plain jane mirrors? HELP!!
TIA

I know that the power fold feature is available on the Super Duty trucks, but not 100% sure it's an option on the F150.

I test drove a truck and brought it home before I bought it to make sure that it would fit well, and needless to say when I ended up with the one I have now I had to have the power folding mirrors!

This happened to me too

I traded in a 2006 f150 pick up truck recently for a new 2008 F150 Lariat with the tow mirrors. I ended up having the dealer take off the new mirror and replace them with the ones off of the truck I just traded in. The mirrors cost 150 or so each from forddirect online.

let me know what you end up doing
