Fender Flares Scratches

About 6 months ago i installed bushwacker fenderflares, but im begining to think that lifted trucks look much better without fenderflares. So i decided to take them off, after taking one off i saw that it had scratched a perfect line around where the flares sat agianst the truck. Is there anyway to fix the dull paint line if i do take the fender flares off. And does anyone feel that im better off leaving them on because the truck will get scratches anyway from the tires throwing road debri up? Thanks
-Mike

Try Scratch X from Meguire's. Do a search over in the Care & Detailing section. If you post your question it that section the guys will want a picture.

I agree try Scratch X... Might take 2 or 3 applications. Just take your time it'll get there!

As far as with or with out goes. Flares look good...

But I too like the look better without!

However... If those scratches don't clean up...
I guess it's up to you to pick the lesser evil

After thought: Did your truck have the ...I'm going to call them mini flares (factory)??

If so, I don't know if those might hide the scratches you found...
If the scratches don't clean up maybe look into a set of factory flares!
Heres a link that might help!
You can order them painted or if you like grab a color code from another 150 and go for a 2 tone look!

GooD Luck!

Then worst case... Get your self some stockers to hide the scratches.
They stick out all of about a 1/2 inch if that!!

Sorry for your fursterations though!!
Heres a dancing Banna to cheer you up lol

I think they look good with them as well. If you decide to sell them, PM me.
