Hi, can anyone help me out?

I think the linkage in my wiper system is broken. The washer fluid works fine and when the wipers are turned on the motor does make noise but the wipers don't move. But I can grab both wipers with my hand and move them freely.

So is the internal linkage broken? How easy and much are they to replace by myself?

Yes, your linkage is bad. THe linkage and motor come as a complete unit. Your local Ford dealer should have them in stock, We do. THey will want your old unit as a core, as these are rebuilt units.
