Paint chip repair

I went out this morning to find my drivers side window smashed and my GPS unit missing, in my own driveway. One lucky SOB cause if I had caught him I'd be the one in jail.

Whatever the jackass used to smash the window also put a chip in the paint about 3 pencil leads big. Does anyone know if a chip like this can be repaired without repainting the whole door? It is down to metal so it will have to fixed some way or else start rusting.

it can be repaired w/o a respray, but chances are the results will look less than immaculate. the only way to get the door to look perfect would be a respray... are you insured for fire/theft? if so, make your insurance pay to respray the door! the reason you pay for it is for times like this.
