Leaky rear glass replacement

Well, I finally bit the bullet on this fix. I've been fighting this dang leak for 3 years.

I've pulled the whole thing out and resealed it (twice), and caulked the snot out of the thing while in place hoping to divert the water away from the frame, all for not. 2 weeks max and it was passing more water than my shower-head

Called half a dozen or so places for a quote, and found Safelite will meet/beat any other quote I had received. Quoted $250 + tax/incidentals for on-site replacement with lifetime warranty

Well, I just got it put in. Total came to ~$265. Very professional technician. Showed up on time, very careful with his work, and even removed my NRA and bolt face decals off the old window and put them on my new one!

I feel better already. However, I have no idea if it still leaks or not. It quit raining Sunday night and is hammering the snow down now!!!

if they warrant their work w/ a liftetime warranty, it shows their confidence in the quality of the job, and you have nothing to worry about.

Well, it warmed up this weekend. Lots of melting snow, and it poured the rain down the better part of Saturday night through this morning (Monday) and NO LEAKS!!!

I'm kicking myself for not doing this sooner. That leak was a royal PITA.

Money well spent!
