2004 STX. I looked underneath and it appears to be just a couple of screws but just to make sure. Anybody have a PDF or actual knowledge???????

 

well almost. the bumper cover attaches to the top of the bumper. the bumper cover is the large plastic running across the front of the truck under each headlight. there are i believe 8 screws holding it to the bumper. might be 10 been awhile since i took it off. once you remove the screws at the top of the bumper and the two large nuts on the bumper support the bumper comes right off. oh and dont forget to disconnect the foglights if you have them. just take the wires off the back and thats it. amazing how cheap ford makes the bumpers. i hit a pole that had been cut off and didnt see it one rainy night. wasnt going more than 5mph and tore up the bumper, bumpercover, front grill, and trans cooler. hope this helps.

 

Concur to that. Actually though I just need to remove the under bumper(where it connects with the foglights). I hit a curb and it ripped one of the foglights off. The actual light is fine, just the plastic is damaged(from the light). Other than probably purchasing a new light, Im try to do it myself.....
