Driver side wing mirror replacement

Does anyone know of a posting or web site that details how to replace the drivers side mirror assembly for a 2005 F150?

Someone was kind enough to hit mine and break it and the replacement I ordered has no instructions... I'm guessing the door pannel needs to come off, but am hesitant to do so.

Any help would be appreciated. I tried to search in this forum, but didnt find anything.

Yes, pulling the door panel is step 1. Some door panels are held on by the speaker, so do some research. Once you have the panel off, the mirror is easy.

I found this site that details the removal of the panel and installation of the new mirror... hope it helps someone.
