I have a new tail gate to put on my 2001 ford f 150 were do you find the color code at ?????????

 

The color code should be on the Vehicle Certification Labe on the drivers door or the "B" pillar.
The list below is from a 2003 listing.

Primary Body Color
AQ - Arizona Beige
B4 - Chestnut, clear coat
CX - Dark Shadow Gray, clear coat
E4 - Vermilion, clear coat
FX - Merlot
KW - Charcoal Blue, clear coat
L2 - True Blue Pearl, clear coat
PX - Dark Highland Green, clear coat
SN - Sonic Blue
ST - Estate Green, clear coat
UA - Ebony, clear coat
YN - Silver Metallic, clear coat

Open you driverside door there should be a tag thier with the tire size GVRW and axel code the paint code is right next to the axel code i believe. would be like a 2 digit number. like AQ, FL, YN.
