I've got a friend with a 2005 Lariat (blue on gold) who had part of his grille knocked out by a blown out tire on the interstate and would like to replace it, which leads me to the following questions:

1) Does ordering a grille include the Ford emblem?

2) Would a King Ranch grille be a direct replacement? It appears this way and would be the same color. The interest here is because it seems to be cheaper than a Lariat grille..

3) Any special tricks to replacing the grille? It only looks like 6 or so screws to remove the grille, but I have not done it on this body style.

Looks like Ford does not supply an emblem with that one.......also a KR grille should work and mount up the same.

I have a grille from a 2004 XLT, it doesnt have the Ford emblem, but i bought a grille from an FX4 and am looking to sell my origional grille.

I have a 05 Lariat and replaced the honeycomb grille with a Roush grille. Looks awesome at a descent price. The grille did not come with the emblem but included the hardware to install the original emblem which you can remove from the honeycomb. Sorry I don't have pics but look at ncf150's gallery. Looks like that!!!

It took me about 30 minutes to remove the honeycomb and install the Roush. The new grille is somewhat difficult to snap into the locks on the surround but once they do, it's PERFECT
