Adding lights to interior mirrors

Hey, do you guys know if/how you can add you can add the lights to the mirrors you would check your face in? I'm tired of the g/f bitching that there aren't any!

Could install some LED's in the lid. It would be a custom install, being that there is no kit. Or get a new g/f. Choice is yours...

you must care about your lady if you are willing to go buy a light and custom install it yourself just to please her for 2-3 seconds of looking in the mirror

Your vanity mirrors are fine......... your g/f, however, may be broken.

Swap your visors for some with lighted mirrors already installed. 6-8 screws & a couple of connectors, and you're done. You might even upgrade to a set of dual visors with a HomeLink remote & a voice recorder!

not only do i care about her, but i like her when she looks her hottest, and that's only when she can check her makeup, etc... or so she says... oh yeah, and are all the harnesses that the connectors would be plugged into already there, or will I need those as well?

If the truck wasn't originally equipped, then there probably aren't any wires for powered visors. But you really only need 1 wire tapped into the demand lighting circuit to make them work. You can ground them locally (at a mounting screw) if you get the style with 2 wires.

This is for a CV, but the wire colors should be the same on your truck:
