chroming front tow hooks

im thinking about getting my front tow hooks on my black 97 xlt with chrome bumpers chromed. does anyboby have an about idea of how much it will cost and if using hooks and such will chip or scratch them. and if i go through with it ill try to post pics

Think again.



The chroming process causes steel to become brittle, which is deadly on things like tow hooks, steering linkage, suspension components, & chain.


Powdercoating is fine.

you can get new ones alresdy chromed, or polished aluminum.
